You should probably make this a series, where you try helping people move some things from excel to python, something like yeah let's do this thing that you used to do in excel but with python (pandas) and see how easy it is.
Actually, this is not a bad idea at all. I was hoping to expand it based on various data-related libraries in Python that seem insurmountable for most people.
